Our lovely clients contacted us to help design a dual-occupancy unit development. They had earlier ruled out their dream of a Feng Shui House on their middle suburban site as a knockdown and rebuild seemed too extravagant.
After much discussion, it was decided that “they could have their cake and eat it too,” as we suggested that a unit development could also follow ancient design principles, creating two Feng Shui masterpieces for not much more than the price of one.
The resulting escalation in equity that the two houses offer more than justified the investment.
The design process was very complicated, given that we had to satisfy the Feng Shui Master while also meeting the council’s town planning requirements. In the end, our experience and design expertise shone through, and our clients are now living in their Feng Shui Family Home, having sold the other to cover the costs.
